Just because this phone did not make it into the top five does not mean it is not a great phone. It is stylish and has really impressive voice features like conference calling, MMS and voice dialing. It is a great phone that has a secondary function as a media phone, as opposed to some of our higher ranked products that have advanced media features and secondary phone features.
This phone covers the basics; it has a camera and can play video and music. But it only has a 1.3 mega pixel camera and does not have a video recorder. The best aspect of this phone is that it incorporates trusted Blackberry email features into a smaller, better looking device.
We would have liked to have seen Wi-Fi support with this phone, which would have really put it over the top. Nevertheless if your provider supports this phone and you need good cell phone and email features, and a few media functions, the Blackberry Pearl is a good choice.
